AUSC - O'Week Successful

O'Week (Orientation Week) Feb 2010 on North Terrace campus a great success!

The committee would like to thank all members who helped at the O'Week stand between Feb 22 and 25, and welcome all new members who joined during this time. More than 30 members joined throughout the week, including many international students and students coming from interstate. It is one of our prime times to publicize the Club and the efforts in towing in the boat, preparing paperwork, decorating the stand, and of course staffing the stand is very much appreciated. We received great interest from existing divers and those keen to learn ASAP. Many thanks also to Bradley from Southern Diving for his help in encouraging new divers.

Unfortunately to O'Week dive, reintroduced this year as offering free gear hire for students and new members, was postponed due to unfavourable weather. However the committee will offer this in the near future so stay tuned!
